Thanks to a pair of home runs from third baseman Kris Bryant and a dominant performance by Travis Wood and the bullpen, the Chicago Cubs picked up an unexpected win over the Dodgers in Monday’s series opener.
On Tuesday night, the task at-hand gets no easier as Los Angeles has right-hander Zack Greinke on the hill as the Dodgers look to rebound.
Greinke (5-2, 1.81) will likely leave Los Angeles at the end of the season, but, for now, he’s a legitimate threat alongside Kershaw atop the Dodgers rotation.
