Chicago Cubs Lineup (9/27/20): Hamilton Leads Off, KB Cleans Up, Kipnis at 1B, Alzolay Starts Final Game of Season

It’s finally here, the last game of the season. Never would I have imagined 60 games could feel like 600, but nothing about 2020 makes sense. Well, except for the Cubs clinching their third NL Central title in five years and securing a No. 3 seed in the postseason. That’s why today’s lineup is a little interesting.

Billy Hamilton leads off in center, followed by Cam Maybin in right and Kyle Schwarber in left. Kris Bryant bats cleanup and will probably only get one or two plate appearances before Patrick Wisdom comes on. Willson Contreras is the DH, Victor Caratini handles the catching duties, David Bote is at second, Jason Kipnis is at first, and Nico Hoerner mans short.
