The Cubs can win their third straight game with a victory over the Brewers tonight. And yeah, maybe I just cursed their chances. Or maybe, just maybe, this Cubs team is what we think they are. Jed Hoyer doesn’t have a lot of faith in this year’s version of the team since just today he said the Cubs won’t make any moves for just this year unless “things change dramatically.”
Sweeping the Brewers would at least be the start of a dramatic change.
Jameson Taillon (7-4, 3.10 ERA) has been a pleasant surprise this season and he’s looking to build on that tonight.
