The Cubs are back in action for their second game of the spring and first at home, which means more regulars in the lineup. They also have local broadcast coverage since they’re at Sloan, so that’s nice. My favorite part of early spring training is just that it’s about the only time all year when fans are (almost) universally optimistic
Today’s game sees Ian Happ leading off in left, with Dansby Swanson at short and Seiya Suzuki in right. Pete Crow-Armstrong cleans up, mainly so he can get in an at-bat or two before departing, Miguel Amaya is the catcher, and Jon Berti is at third.
