- Starting pitcher Jon Lester gets hurt running during his trip to bat.
- Darvish starts throwing some stinkers.
- Catcher Victor Caratini gets hurt and is put on reserve.
- Acting-closer Pedro Strop gets hurt and is put on reserve.
