For the Chicago Cubs, they kept battling back from being down to the Cincinnati Reds. Even when their closer Raisel Iglesias came in, they were able to fight their way back into the game. But entering the bottom of the 11th inning, things seem to fall apart for the Cubs.
After eight straight games, Justin Wilson couldn’t find the strike zone. After Joe Maddon had to turn to a five-man infield, Wilson walked Billy Hamilton to end the game 5-4.
Going was tough for left on base
The Cubs struggled, going 1-for-16 with runners in scoring position and leaving 14 on-base.
