In the days after the Cubs won the World Series last week, plenty of Chicago tattoo parlors have been busy inking Cubs-inspired tattoos on fans. But nothing has been more intricate than the famous Cubs marquee that now sits on the head of one of them.
Last Friday, less than two days after the Cubs won their World Series title, Ricky Rainey showed up at Chicago State Tattoo and wanted to something to cover his bald head.
The owner, Ozzy Munoz, suggested tattooing hair follicles to permanently make it look like he had stubble. But Rainey, a lifelong Cubs fan, with 18 other tattoos on his body, had been dreaming of a spot to feature the marquee.
