After a disappointing finish to the season, the Chicago Cubs feel they have something to prove. PECOTA projections have them finishing last in the Central. The offseason wasn’t filled with any big signings, and some don’t think the Cubs did enough to keep up in the division. This team would greatly disagree with all those assessments and is looking to prove it on the field in 2019.
There haven’t been many pitchers the likes of Kyle Hendricks. Not with the success he has had. There is one that many Cubs’ fans can think of, but you always have to temper expectations when you talk about Greg Maddux.
