Just like that, last year’s World Series champs, the Chicago Cubs, won’t be playing this postseason after losing the National League wild-card game to the Colorado Rockies. It was a heartbreaking 2–1 defeat that took 22 agonizing innings, which no doubt took the fight out of the Cubbies. They do, however, now hold the title of being the most expensive MLB team to watch.
