They can’t hit. They get good starting pitching, and yes I’m going to consider Kyle Hendricks’ outing a “start” even though he entered in an emergency situation.
And then the bullpen comes in and puts the game completely out of reach. Heck, it was out of reach at 1-0 in the eighth, that seemed like an insurmountable lead, and then two more Cardinals runs scored in the ninth and at that point why even play the bottom of the inning?
Sorry, sounding too cynical here but seriously, this is just awful to watch every single day.
