Shu014dta Imanaga continued his run of great starts for the Cubs Monday in Atlanta. Unfortunately, he walked a few more than usual and ran up a high pitch count and could throw only five innings. Hayden Wesneski, who’s also thrown well, entered in the sixth and the Braves scored a pair off him and that, as they say, was that in a 2-0 Atlanta win over the Cubs.
There are, of course, some things to talk about anyway about this loss, in which the Cubs pitched reasonably well, they just didn’t get enough hitting.
Imanaga not only pitched well for five innings, he also picked off two Braves runners.
