CHICAGO -- Pitching duels are great, but so are home runs, and rookie David Bote hit one he'll never forget. Bote smacked a walk-off grand slam with two outs in the ninth inning on Sunday night to lift the Cubs to a stunning 4-3 victory over the Nationals.
Trailing, 3-0, with one out in the ninth against Ryan Madson, Jason Heyward reached on an infield single and Albert Almora Jr. was hit by a pitch. One out later, Willson Contreras also was hit to load the bases. Bote launched a 2-2 pitch from Madson
It was the Cubs' 37th come-from-behind win this season.
