Jenny Cavnar has worked in baseball for 12 years. She’s popular in every city she’s worked.
How do I know? I followed her in San Diego. After she left to cover her hometown team in 2012, I was hired as the Padres’ field reporter. The fan base still kept up with Cavnar, and those involved with the club always spoke highly of her. It’s easy to see why. Cavnar’s knowledge and preparation are complemented and proven.
She’s risen in the ranks in Denver; from reporter, to host, to also calling radio and now television. I talked with her about her latest role, which made history, calling the Padres-Rockies game for TV on April 23.
