Baseball Hall of Fame 2015

Sunday, July 26, the day that the 2015 Baseball Hall of Fame class was inducted. This included Dick Enberg winning the Ford C. Frick award for outstanding broadcasting in baseball, and Tom Gage for winning the Spink award for outstanding baseball writing in a year where he lost his long-time job on the Detroit Tigers beat. Those are amazing accomplishments, but I’m sure most casual fans are more invested in the players.

First, Houston Astros legend Craig Biggio:

Atlanta Braves pitcher John Smoltz, who razzed his former (also Hall of Fame) rotation mates with a wig and spoke about the Tommy John surgery risk in warning youth baseball players to be careful with their arms:

I love Randy Johnson (traded for him in my video games before he retired, he was great) but his speech was very awkward, as he didn’t seem comfortable speaking in public.
