Much to the dismay of it's supporters, the Impact will play their final game of 2017 on Sunday October 22nd at Saputo Stadium, in the final round of regular season games that Major League Soccer calls “Decision Day.” The league created the name to generate additional buzz and excitement that usually surrounds final regular season matches with playoff implications on the line for a majority of teams. But for the past several weeks there has been nothing to cheer about for the Impact, whose playoffs hopes were officially dashed last weekend. So, for many, next Sunday's final game will be about serenading retiring captain Patrice Bernier one last time as an Impact player.
