Baez snags Harper's hot shot with diving gem

Both the hit probability and exit velocity were tied for the third highest for an out on any ball Harper has hit this year, much to his chagrin.

Baez was filling in at shortstop in place of Addison Russell, who is recovering from a shoulder injury, and the Cubs were happy to have him there. The Major League average on batted balls of at least 110 mph this year was .765 entering Monday, but the impressive play from Baez turned Harper's liner into an out to help Butler escape the inning.
