Almora, Baez extend hit streaks, ignite Cubs

CHICAGO -- For the second straight day, the Cubs' Albert Almora Jr. and Javier Baez extended their hit streaks with back-to-back hits.

With two out in the Chicago third on Saturday, Almora singled to left off Brewers starter Junior Guerra to extend his hitting streak to a career-high 11 games. Baez matched that with a Wrigley Field double, driving in Almora. Brewers center fielder Lorenzo Cain signaled that he lost Baez's ball, which then deflected off shortstop Orlando Arcia's glove.
