I’ve been thinking about this off and on, and I decided to wait until after the Cubs nailed down Sunday night’s victory before doing anything about it lest I conjure up some bad juju (too late, you’re all screwed). But somebody on our Facebook page said that the Chicago Cubs’ magic number to secure the NL Central was something like 84, and it’s barely past mid-June.
