On Social Media Night, #CubsSocial went nuts and so did the Chicago Cubs offense as they defeated the Milwaukee Brewers. It wasn’t entirely without incident as Jason Hammel was again erratic and not-so-effective, but the offense chugged along and benefited from a couple interesting plays.

Then, a wild pitch for the ages as Kris Bryant made it a super close play, electing not to flip to Miguel Montero covering and just going for it:
Not a bad way to start the series a day before Jake Arrieta Day.
