You all know how historically bad the 2024 White Sox season has been.
They are off today, before hosting the A’s this weekend on the South Side. (Scout ‘em if you want, the A’s visit Wrigley starting Monday.)
The Sox enter that weekend series at 33-114, a season-low 81 games under .500. That seems unfathomable, yet here they are.
That brings me to this statement made by Sox senior VP/general manager Chris Getz earlier this week:
