Walkup music is fun! (That is, when it isn’t blasted at earsplitting volume.)
It gets the players hyped for their at-bats or coming to the mound, and some of the songs get fans clapping.
Here’s a list of walkup songs for each player on the current active roster (except David Bote and Luke Farrell, just recalled, who haven’t played yet at Wrigley Field), plus Ben Zobrist, currently on the DL. In some cases players have more songs than just the one(s) listed. If you’ve heard a walkup song at Wrigley that’s not listed here, that’s because it wasn’t on the list I received from the Cubs.
