5 Things a Cub Fan Should Know for August 27th

The Cubs offense fizzled on Wednesday night as they managed just 2 runs against the Giants that both came in the first inning on a Kris Bryant 2 RBI single. The game was tied at 2 going into the 6th inning, but some shaky defense in the outfield and a couple of hits later, the Giants took a 4-2 lead that would end up as the final score. Chris Denorfia misplayed a liner to center field, left his feet, and let the ball go by all the way to the wall resulting in a triple to start the inning.
