Vidal Bruján’s placement here should be an indication of who I think will win the battle — Workman is on the 26-man roster, if only because he has Rule 5 status and some punch/versatility. Brujan hasn’t yet exhibited a LOT of power, but he does have some that he can hopefully learn to tap into as his career unfolds.
He does have real speed — not quite on the level of PCA, but faster than most of the other players. Brujan is not a young player — he’s 27 years old, has spent parts of the last four years in the majors with Tampa and Miami.
