2025 Cubs player profiles: Ryan Brasier

Ryan Brasier is going to need to get guys out. I mean, that’s what all pitchers do, ideally, but Brasier’s track record, veteran status, and relatively high salary probably get him a spot in the middle of the bullpen as long as he’s effective, If not, then he isn’t so expensive that the Cubs wouldn’t cut him. Plus, he’s old in baseball terms, though he’s only thrown 285 MLB innings in an eight-year career in which he has amassed 3.0 bWAR (3.4 fWAR).

Here he discusses joining the Cubs [VIDEO].
