Nico Hoerner, wearing No. 2 and batting No. 2 in the order, looks and acts like an old-time player, a hard-nosed gym rat, impossible to keep off the field. And the best news is the injury he was recovering from over the winter likely won’t make him miss much time:
The Cubs’ plan right now is that Nico Hoerner will play most of their games in 2025.
That much is clear.
“He’s not gonna miss much, if at all,” Cubs manager Craig Counsell said on Monday at Sloan Park.
