Jon Berti, No. 5 in your program guide, had had quite a long Major-League career, based on his speed and athleticism. He broke in with the Toronto Blue Jays in 2018, enjoyed his coffe, and themn moved on to Miami, where he became a sometime starter and turned in one really good season, 2022, where he slashed .240/.324/.328, with 41 stolen bases in 404 plate appearances. In 2023, he hit .294, with a little more power, but didn’t get anywhere near that many steals. Both years were 2.4 bWAR (2.2 and 2.1 fWAR respectively) years, and that is nearly half of his lifetime total of 8.
