Seven very good innings. One bad inning. One horrendous inning. This isn’t some bizarre match play or Stableford scoring system. So the net of that equation is another loss. Four of five, six of 10, et cetera, et cetera. No one wants to hear it and I’m tired of saying it. The free fall continues.
We can dissect what should have been, what could have been or what might happen. But the reality is, this team is not a very good one now and hasn’t been for some time. The margins are still fairly small in the division and in the wild card.
