Every season has an iconic game or two. We’ll remember something like Pete Crow-Armstrong’s two homer-game. Or Ben Brown’s flirting with a no hitter. Ian Happ has had several really memorable games. There are so many games, even in a frustrating season that stand out to us. We find the good in the bad. I’m a fan of that in this space.
Then there are games like Monday night’s game. A game we might describe as forgettable. Unless you want to remember Michael Busch’s homer to avoid a shutout or the infamy of Nate Pearson’s first outing as a Cub.
