Two years ago today the Cubs won the World Series. After 107 seasons without a World Series title, they finally won, though of course it didn’t come easy. Not only did the series run the full seven games… the deciding contest went into extra innings! There was no shortage of interesting bits of baseball history baked into the Cubs Game 7 win. Let’s revisit seven of my favorite nuggets from that unforgettable night.
