It seems like it was almost ready to be spring and then we get all this snow on Valentine’s Day. That’s ok, as every day that passes puts us a little closer to April 3 when MLB kicks off Opening Day and the Cubs will be playing in the afternoon out in Anaheim and I can’t wait!!
I can’t remember being this excited about a season starting and for good reason. We added Jason Heyward and Ben Zobrist to our starting lineup and John Lackey to our rotation and Adam Warren to the pitching staff, hopefully in the rotation sooner than later.
