2015 Cubs Victories Revisited, June 30: Cubs 1, Mets 0

After taking the first two games of a four-game set from the Dodgers at Wrigley Field, the Cubs lost the next two and then got swept in St. Louis, looking bad while doing it.

Thus the visit to Citi Field to face the Mets was welcome. The Cubs continued their regular-season domination of the Mets, winning their fifth in a row against them and in so doing, broke a five-game losing streak which turned out to be the longest such streak of 2015.

After this win the Cubs were 40-35, 10½ games behind the first-place Cardinals and 2½ games behind the Pirates.
