Cuban outfielder Eddy Julio Martinez could very well command a $10 million signing bonus, and the Chicago Cubs are one team who may consider paying that premium.
Here's Jeff Passan of Yahoo! Sports with the report:
Signing bonus for Cuban OF Eddy Julio Martinez, 20, could reach $10M. Braves, Giants, Yanks, Cubs, Nats, D-backs, White Sox shown interest.

The talented 20-year-old outfielder is subject to the international spending pool -- a situation that could easily influence the direction the bidding process takes.
The New York Yankees and Arizona Diamondbacks could be in the driver's seat since they’ve already exceeded their bonus pool. The Cubs will be unable to jump into the fray until July, which could prove troublesome as it was reported this past week that Martinez could sign as early as next week.
