On Thursday’s episode of the Dunc’d on Podcast, Nate Duncan and Danny Leroux went over trades that could help the Washington Wizards tear down the house and get the salary cap relief that would help them get outside of the dreaded luxury tax. Leroux—who also writes for The Athletic and Real GM.com—posed an interesting deal involving Chicago.
Leroux stated, “Chicago has something that a lot of these of these other teams don’t, and that is a bad salary that runs a long time.”
His deal, which can be seen in the NBA Trade Machine here, was:
Otto Porter and Jason Smith for Robin Lopez, Cameron Payne and Cristiano Felicio.
