Warriors shoot-around: Draymond Green playing after initial fear of meniscus injury; Ian Clark reunion

NEW ORLEANS — When Draymond Green's knee buckled slightly on opening night Tuesday, sending the do-everything forward limping into the front row, he feared that his season had been thrown into an immediate tailspin.

“I was concerned,” Green said today. “I honestly thought it was my meniscus.”

A meniscus tear would've knocked him out for more than a month. But instead, Green's knee scare only forced him to miss one quarter — the fourth on opening night. After going through a night practice on Thursday in New Orleans and this morning's shootaround, Green has been given the go-ahead to play against the Pelicans tonight.
