MEMPHIS -- Mike Dunleavy didn't allow himself to lose his mind like many other fans at the end of Monday night's NCAA championship game between Villanova and North Carolina. The Chicago Bulls forward was one of the lucky fans inside NRG Stadium in Houston late Monday night when Villanova's Kris Jenkins hit a game winner for the ages to win a national title.
Dunleavy, the 13-year NBA veteran, watched from inside the stadium with more emotion than most because his brother, Baker, is the Wildcats associate head coach. As the Bulls prepared to play the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday, Dunleavy, who arrived in Memphis early Tuesday morning after taking a charter plane out of Texas, was happy for his younger brother.
