“I don’t know what I’m seeing,” Butler was saying about opposing defenses in the Bulls locker room after Saturday’s 101-91 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers. “I’m just trying to play basketball the right way; that’s my job.”
Isaiah Canaan was sitting next to Butler, listening. He was inactive and actually winced when a weary sounding Butler said he didn’t know quite what was going on. It was an unusual response from the usually intrepid Butler.
