The speculation had been there for months, and now, Tom Thibodeau is out of a job.
Thibodeau amassed a 255-139 record during five seasons with the Bulls, including two trips to the NBA Playoffs as the Eastern Conference’s top seed.

Bulls management and Thibodeau didn’t seen eye-to-eye on matters over recent memory, and it showed not only in the press release, but in the Bulls’ willingness to pay $9 million for the final two years of his contract to not coach the Bulls.
