Jabari Parker is officially coming home.
A product of the famous Simeon High School in Chicago, the Chicago Bulls signed the hometown player to a two-year, $40M deal. Per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the second year of the deal is a team option, one that Chicago wanted so they could monitor Parker due to his injury-riddled career. Parker spent his first four NBA seasons with the Milwaukee Bucks, has torn his left ACL twice. The Bucks rescinded a qualifying offer for Parker last night, allowing Parker to become an unrestricted free agent. Chicago quickly came to an agreement with Parker soon thereafter.
