The Chicago Bulls heated things up in Miami with a surprising 105-89 victory over the Heat to break their current losing streak. This game also marked the Bulls 14th straight game of 100+ points.
This was just the Bulls 12th win of the season and it came on the second night of a back-to-back where they were missing leading scorer Zach LaVine. This is a game the Bulls would’ve lost earlier in the season.
LaVine’s absence didn’t matter, though, thanks to a very fast start from veteran center Robin Lopez. With nine of his 13 points coming in the first quarter, he helped the Bulls jump out to a 31-21 first quarter lead that the Bulls never really looked back from.
