Shams Charania from Yahoo Sports was the first one who broke this signing. Shams said that the deal is for three years worth $6.2 million. The deal includes team options for the next two seasons. Kilpatrick was signed as part of the Bulls’ mid-level exception.
Kilpatrick has been in the NBA for four years, and has played for six different teams. He went undrafted in 2014. Kilpatrick started this season with the Nets. In December the Nets released Kilpatrick because they had to make room for Jahlil Okafor and Nik Stauskas. He also played for the Bucks this season, but was cut in March.
