Every group of friends or co-workers has that one person who keeps everybody together no matter how crazy things get. For eight years, Taj Gibson was the glue of the Chicago Bulls.
That changed Thursday afternoon when Gibson and Doug McDermott were traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder. Gibson, who was the longest-tenured Bull on the roster, knew this was a possibility, but the reality of the situation still hit him -- and many others in the Bulls' front office -- hard.
