Jimmy Butler was introduced as a member of the Minnesota Timberwolves on Thursday, but a report from his former team’s city got people buzzing a bit after the presser.
According to a report from the always-interesting Joe Cowley at the Chicago Sun-Times, Chicago Bulls general Gar Forman lied to Butler about being traded not once, but twice before the deal went down during the 2017 NBA Draft last week in Brooklyn.
Butler addressed the critics in Chicago at his introductory presser on Thursday in a rather humorous way by handing out a phone number he had reportedly been using as of late.
