Stanford running back Bryce Love is the only FBS player with more than 1,000 yards rushing (he has 1,240) and the only player with more than 35 rush attempts who is averaging double-digit yards per carry.
This week he also stands alone in The All-American’s Heisman straw poll of its staff. Love becomes the third player to top the weekly staff survey, edging out Penn State’s Saquon Barkley, who led the past two weeks.
Love has at least one 50-yard run in each of the past eight games and leads the FBS with 20 rushes of 20 or more yards this season.
