Sky's Pondexter joins Delle Donne as WNBA All-Star

In her first season with the Chicago Sky, guard Cappie Pondexter has made quite the impact.

In 17 games the 10-year veteran is averaging 16.1 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.4 assists in nearly 31 minutes per game. And late Tuesday night she was rewarded for her stellar play by being named to her seventh career All-Star Game.

She'll join Elena Delle Donne, who last week was named the leading vote-getter for the July 25 game in Connecticut, and head coach Pokey Chatman, who will coach the East team after winning the conference last season.

Pondexter, a Chicago native, was traded to the Sky in February for Epiphany Prince.
