With fourth-year guard Jamierra Faulkner missing the entire 2017 season, the guard depth for the Chicago Sky will be reduced greatly.
Chicago Sky guard Jamierra Faulkner will miss the 2017 WNBA season after tearing the ACL in her left knee, the team announced on Monday.
Faulkner sustained the injury while playing with CCC Polkwise in Poland, and she’s scheduled to have surgery this week, according to Chicago Tribune reporter Phil Thompson.
Through her first three years in the league, Faulkner has seen an inconsistency in minutes from season-to-season, averaging 20.4 in 2014 to 9.
