Sky Lines: Chicago Sky fall in season opener as Sylvia Fowles scores 26

The Chicago Sky’s starting lineup on Sunday included two brand-new faces in Keisha Hampton and Stefanie Dolson, alongside second-year center Imani Boyette and veterans in Cappie Pondexter and Jessica Breland.

Minnesota, on the other hand, trotted out the same five that won a league-best 28 games and campaigned all the way to the WNBA Finals before falling one shot short to the eventual champion Los Angeles Sparks. The difference in chemistry was stark.

Early on, the Lynx controlled nearly all aspects of the game, forcing turnovers early and scoring a flurry of easy buckets on the other end.
