In what’s been an inspiring rookie season for the No. 7 overall pick in the NBA Draft, Lauri Markkanen put on another fantastic display against the Toronto Raptors. For the rookie, it was an impressive outing that still couldn’t put the team over the top, losing 124-115 at home.
Perhaps its Robin Lopez‘s superb ability to square-off opponents, but Markkanen snagged a team-high 12 rebounds.
After hitting something of a rookie wall in late November through mid-December, Lauri kept up his hot-scoring trend. Markkanen finished second on the team in scoring with 22; Justin Holliday dropped 26 points on his own accounts.
