Chicago Bulls center Robin Lopez was suspended one game by the NBA for his role in an altercation with Toronto Raptors forward Serge Ibaka on Tuesday night in the Bulls’ overtime loss to the Raptors.
Lopez and Ibaka came to blows and both were ejected after the fight was broken up by both teams. Raptors assistant coach Jamaal Magloire was also fined $15,000 by the NBA for his role in the altercation.
During the media availability from Bulls coach Fred Hoiberg on Wednesday, Hoiberg addressed the Lopez suspension and mentioned that Lopez is still one of the likable guys on the current roster.
