The Bulls are reportedly close to inking a five-year, $95 million deal with Butler, the NBA's Most Improved Player during the 2014-15 season:

The player option in the reported deal is also key, meaning Butler would not be signing a shorter deal in hopes of cashing in when the NBA's salary cap is expected to rise over the next couple summers.
