Despite the “Three Alphas” becoming just two (maybe) after the trade that sent Jimmy Butler to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Thursday night, Dwyane Wade isn’t letting the Bulls front office get in the way of his paychecks for the 2017-18 season.
He still wants that cash and nobody can really blame him for that.
According to Vincent Goodwill of Comcast SportsNet Chicago, Wade still plans to accept his player option of $23.8 million next season and stay with the Bulls.
